We are delighted to add to our music section UK made album by wonderful artists! As a response to the desperate refugee crisis during 2015 and 2016, some amazing musical friends wanted to contribute songs for an album to draw attention to and raise money to help the situation. The response was truly humbling as one by one these gorgeous songs were sent in. Many had written original songs especially for the project, others contributed older material that seemed to fit the theme. All the musicians were very keen to support the work of From Syria With Love and donate all royalties from radio play to the organisation as well as funds raised from sales of downloads and CDs.
We have raised so far £405 which was transferred (according to western union exchange rates) into $500! Here is an example of how we spent donations:
